D+S Distribution History
D+S Distribution began
operations in 1987 with three tractors hauling plastics
for Rubbermaid in Wooster, Ohio. D+S continued to
grow and currenly is a 95% full truckload carrier
of plastic products, heavy duty truck parts, corrugation
and numerous other commodities along with complete
logistics services.
In 1990, D+S began
warehousing truck parts for Volvo GM Heavy Truck.
Currently the warehousing division has approximately
3 million square feet of warehouse space.
In 1995 the value
added services division evolved as support to complete
the supply chain management services. D+S has also
become a vertically integrated supply-chain management
organization offering customized solutions to meet
the distribution and transportation challenges of
today's dynamic business world. |
